Experiences: Field of Dreams

Sam Nowicki , volunteered for several weeks from Nov - December 2009. Sam writes of his time below:

My stay in the Field of Dreams was amazing. I could not have asked for a better stay. The kids and staff are such great people to be around. The kids despite their circumstances are such positive, talented, funny and smart kids.

From getting up early to clean, help with breakfast, waking up the kids and getting them ready for school, hanging out in the centre, eating fresh coconuts and other fruits, helping with homework, playing games, fundraising activities, shooting some hoops, galavanting, taking kids and staff on day trips and island hoping - all were all an absolute blast.

The kids and the volunteer experience gave me a lot more than I could ever give them.
