Experiences: Pag-Amoma
* Projects > Asia > Philippines> Pag-Amoma Childrens Home
Natalia and Soulaiman from Spain and France, spent a month at Pag-Amoma in April 2010. Natalia writes of thier time at the project below:When my husband and I decided to come for one month to Pag-Amoma, we didn't know what we would encounter. We were afraid that we would not be able to integrate into a new country with differences of culture and language. However, from the first day, we were touched by a strong feeling of love, gentleness, respect, gratefulness. Every body welcomed us with huge smiles and sweet looks. The children are very well educated and are good workers, clean, tidy, respectful, always ready to help us. A good future waits for them. We wanted to tell : thank you so much! We hope that you stay always the same, we shall never forget you. We are sorry that not we were not able to speak fluent english and not to have taught you more about yourselves, but a smile, a glance speaks more than thousands of words. Lastly, we want to tell to our dear Lisa that she was really a true mother during our stay. She always worried that nothing was missing for us, so again a big thankyou from our hearts. It was a unique experience in our lives that we shall never forget and keep in the depths of our hearts, Thanks to all of you ! - Soulaiman and Natalia - |
